TEMAS: PRESENTE SIMPLE. ACCIONES HABITUALES (HABIT AND ROUTINE). Weekdays & the weekend.

A. Read these models and if you don’t understand them you can translate them into Spanish.

1. On weekdays, I always get up at 6:30am. Then, I go to the bathroom and have breakfast. I usually have coffee and biscuits for breakfast. After breakfast, I brush my teeth and I get dressed. Before leaving home, I feed the pets. I leave home at 7:30 and go to work. I always go to work on foot and arrived at work at 8 am. I work in a shop from 8 am to 1 pm and then from 4 pm to 8 pm. I go back home at 1:30 and have lunch. After lunch, I usually do the housework and sometimes, I take a siesta. At 3:30 pm I go back to work. I don’t have tea and go back home at 8:30 pm. Then, I prepare supper. After supper, I watch TV, I surf the net, I listen to music or I chat with friends or relatives. Finally, I usually go to bed before midnight.

2. At weekends, I don’t get up early. I usually get up at 9 or 10 am. Then, I had breakfast. After breakfast, I usually do the housework. I prepare lunch at about 1 pm and have lunch at 2 pm. I usually have pasta, milanesa, empanadas or stew for lunch at weekends. After lunch, I usually take a siesta, go to the park, visit friends or relatives, or watch a film. I usually have tea at 5 pm. In the evening, I go out and meet friends or I invite friends over. Finally, I always go to bed after midnight.
